About Me

I'm a 30-something year old teacher, wife, daughter, sister, dreamer, schemer, lover, laugh-er, and life long learner. I love my job as a high school English teacher because it allows me to tap into so many of my interests: reading, writing, acting, music, working with others, attempting to inspire people, and just being the somewhat creative goofball that I am.  I have an awesome husband with whom I love to go on all sorts of adventures. Some adventures we've been on recently include home-ownership, kitty parenthood, and the wonderful world of Downton Abbey, just to name a few!  My passion in life is exploring ways to stay happy and healthy in mind, body, and spirit.  My other passion in life is making people laugh!
